We provide 24-hour air ambulance service from our bases in Norway House, Thompson and Winnipeg, Manitoba. Our skilled medical staff care for patients with the ease and compassion of those truly dedicated to their mission. As well, our flight crews are supported around the clock by our Flight Dispatch Center whose focus on customer care ensures smooth, safe and efficient patient transfers.
We operate King Air 200 aircraft which have become the world-wide standard for remote fixed wing air ambulance operations. As a safe, dependable, and quiet aircraft the King Air 200 allows Fast Air MedEvac to access the most remote landing strips in Canada. Equipped with state of the art avionics the King Air 200 has the capability of carrying out almost any kind of flight anywhere in North America. Johan Jacobs
Medical Director
Dr. Johan Jacobs role as Medical Director encompasses the overall supervision and management of the patient care Fast Air MedEvac flight crews deliver on each mission. His duties include development of standing medical orders, approving crew members, overseeing development of policy and procedures, quality assurance, continuing education and medical consults to our nursing staff. Dr. Jacobs has over 15 years of medical experience including extensive experience in northern Manitoba, and operates a private medical practice in downtown Winnipeg.
Tim Hague, RN
Director of Air Ambulance Services
Tim Hague’s primary roles are Chief Flight Nurse and Director for Fast Air MedEvac. Tim has been with the company since the inception of the Air Ambulance division in 2003. His duties include regulatory compliance, risk management, crew education, quality assurance, pre flight consults; and he liaises with Dr. Jacobs to ensure the highest level of safety and patient care. Tim comes well prepared for this position having nursed for over 12 years in a wide range of nursing environments, having been involved in private business ownership and having held various management positions.
